A LITTLE BIT ABOUT THIS BRISTOL WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER.
Hi, I'm Christopher a full-time wedding photographer living in Somerset with my wife Jessica, newborn baby Teddy and our labrador Simba. As a family, we enjoy spending our time cooking, adventuring and seeing family and friends, always with a camera in hand - of course.
I have always needed a creative outlet, as a child, I spent my time with a pencil and paper drawing animals and superheroes, as a teenager, I discovered a love of music and carried my guitar with me everywhere I went. At University I developed a passion for photography, and something clicked (besides the shutter). I’ve been pointing cameras at people ever since.
I often feel like I'm the luckiest guy on earth. I travel to incredible locations to meet amazing people, witness them declare their love and see them smile so much it hurts. I hear speeches so hilarious and heartwarming I have to mask my tears. I taste delicious wedding cake, see epic dance-offs, close up magic, drinking games, surprise singing waiters, people playing casino tables, food too pretty to eat, bands that rock so hard it feels like a concert. Heck, sometimes there are literally fireworks.
This is my job. I am a wedding photographer and I love it.
Trivia:
1 - As a child, I ate pizza at every opportunity. I hoped it would turn me into a Teenage Mutant Hero Turtle. It didn't.
2 - I play the guitar (badly), and once performed disastrously in a restaurant.
3 - I adore animals, especially dogs. In every childhood photograph, I am with/cuddling/chasing/asleep on/looking at or feeding a dog.
4 - My nickname is ‘Toff’ and if my Mum calls me ‘Christopher’ I know I am in trouble.
5 - Christmas is my favourite day of the year, I get so excited on Christmas morning that I wake up at 5AM. Always have. Always will.
